Why people sayin my clothing style is old?

I supposley still wear "jean shorts" and baggy and loose fitting jeans with air forces and jordans. i dont wanna get to dat talor gang **** with converse shoes and cargo pants(not dissin the style). i doesnt look good on me. and i dont like the skinny, tight jean thing. its only dudes talkin bout my style but the girls at my school like it. and i wonder if being from memphis has to do with my style beacause i havent seen one person from memphis with tight jeans. but now i am in atlanta alot of people got dat. but it also depends where im at. if its like in da hood or somwhere its kind of like memphis but if i go outside of 285 people where the "new style"
