Ok so my computer is making downloading clothes from mod the sims 2 really hard, so how do i do it?

it has a logo of an 'internet explorer' icon, and the title of the clothing, but a bunch of letters and numbers after. I keep clicking it, but it wont download! Why won't it? thanks.
