Help?! On buying a car?

Theres a 2002 hyundai sonata on sale for $3,495 at a dealership.. If i was to buy it..can i pay like a grand upfront than do like a $200 monthly payments on it? Would i need a co-signer? I've never bought a vehicle @ a dealership b4..only from private sellers. Or should i get a loan?
