My dad is always mad at me. What should i do?
My dad is always mad at me. But I want him to like me so bad, my parents are divorced so he is really the only family I have. But it's like I can't please him. If I ever leave a light on in a room I'm not in he will yell at me and say I'm costing him so much on the electricity bill. He keeps our house only 40 degrees bc he says he doesnt want to waste money on heat. And he gets mad and yells I'm lazy bc I spend all day lying in bed under my blankets, but like what else am i supposed to do its too cold for me to get out of bed. Then when I complain about how cold I am in his house he tells me its winter and hes not cold so i should shut up and deal with it. I left to my grandma's house for 3 days so I could get out of the cold and she could take me shopping and I told him in advance I was going there. But then he called me up yelling and furious saying I'm ungrateful and I've betrayed him by leaving his house and saying he sees how it is with me and I've just been using him as a paycheck bc he is helping pay for my college although not that much I have loans and my grandma pays some too. Although he's never really paid for anything else. I never got any birthday presents from him or clothing ever growing up although I buy him birthday presents. But the thing is I still have to live with him at least on breaks from college and I can't live with my grandma bc she has a heart condition and cannot handle me full time. I asked my dad if I could get a job at ocean city (thats a beach place where they hire people over the summer for jobs and give them housing so they can stay there all summer) i was hoping to get away from him for the break, but he shot it down said i need to stop acting spoiled and ungrateful to him and if i expect for him to continue to pay for my college then i am never to leave his house again when not in school. but i hate living with him so much even in summer when its not freezing he yells at me practically every day but i dont want to get cut off and have to drop out of school. A Comic From My Past- About a Man who Became God?
When I was in sixth grade, in 2001-2002, I broke my ankle and read a comic that was extremely interesting. I cannot remember the title, but I remember the story vaguely and how the art looked like. The book was a large, 400 or more page comic, or illustrated novel, with a red and gold cover of a phoenix or a bird of some kind. Inside, the art was similar to that of Asterix and Obelix, but the story was much deeper. It was something about a man in an advanced civilization on another planet. Over time, his civilization dies, and he is left alone, and essentially becomes the god of the universe, shaping everything around him. That's all I really remember, I was young and in pain, but that comic really touched me and I was hoping that somebody might remember the same comic and be willing to post the title so that I can once again read it. I regret not remembering the title, but I hope that somehow I will find it again.

Need help with Xbox live connection issues...?
Ok so to start off, my live connection is normally a little laggy. I use a belkin f5d8236-4 v2 router and scientific atlanta 2100 modem. When my Live connection isn't working, I usually just reset them both. For some reason now, its not working. Yes, I have opened port 3074 from my router and opened the nat. The belkin router doesn't allow me to change the mtu settings, so no help there. What I find odd is that the Send and Receive lights on the modem aren't on, yet I still have an internet connection, just not an xbox live connection. Also, my wifi is working because I can connect using my laptop. Do you think this is a cox issue or what else could it be?

Okay, so I'm doing endnotes for this essay I wrote, and I need a bit of help with the format. I've literally been looking for 30 minutes now how to do this, and decided it would liekly be a better use of my time to phone a friend :). So, I have a variety of internet resources that have no authors, yet all have the same title. The publishers (ie. Encyclopedia Britannica) are different, however. Does anybody know how I distinguish between these sources when they are the repeat (aka. when its the second of third time I'm putting them)? Thanks for your help.

Pokemon Platinum connection error?
I don't know why it happened but I can't play at all anymore. Ok so back when I was in the 6th grade in the late 90s I started reading a book for our individual reading assignments during class. It was near the end of the year and I never got to finish it. For the past few years I have been searching for it with no luck so I am hoping perhaps somebody might be able to shed some light on the subject. It is a children's/young adult chapter paperback book. It had to have been published in 98 or earlier. The book is about a young girl who goes to live with a family member, either her grandmother or her aunt, I can't remember. Some how she aquires this really old doll that transports her back to the pioneer days on the wagon trail. She is not herself though, it is like she is living in an already existant girl's body who was the original owner of the doll. The original girl can go back and forth in time with the doll. The pioneer girl ends up sick with like small pox or yellow fever or something which makes the original girl sick. That is as far as I got.

Citi Bank Student Loans Giving me Problems i think i need a lawyer?
I am having a problem with Citi Bank student Loans. I have been behind on my loans and they tell me that the loan defaults at 120 days so every month for the last year i have been calling on the 20th of every month and paying the minimum payments to keep the loans 30 days back and twice already now three times counting this one they have either misapplied the payment or not charged the correct amount and each time they require more money as if i was at fault and now this time they want me to sign up for recurring payments and send a letter saying that i want them to bring the loan back. Is it legal that if i made the payment that they said was enough to bring the loan 30 days back ($61) and in reality the payment should of been more ($67) that they put criterias and threaten me that they will leave the loan charged off if i do not sign up for 6 months of recurring payments? as if i did something wrong. I stayed within the minimum payment and the loan has never been charged off because of me but because of their stupid mistakes. Please help i cant take this anymore what are my rights.

I was pulled over for 85 in a 55, which is considered a super speeder in GA. I ask the office how he knew I was going that fast, he said experience in knowledge because I asked to see the radar and he did not have one. Also I am not sure if there will be an additional fees due to a trial jury. Gas Mileage issues with 2000 lexus es300?
supposed to give me 19 city/26 hwy. Just started driving it, as it was another family members. I barely got 300 miles on a tank of premium gas (wanted to try premium first)...wtf? when i put premium on my camry, it gave noticeably better gas mileage. Spark plugs are fine, sensors are good, any1 know what is wrong? btw that came out to about 17-18 mpg. I drove 30% downtown atlanta, 20% highway at 5-10 speed limit, and 50% residential driving. I NEVER exceed 2.5 RPM, 30% downtown driving can be harsh but its only 2 miles to school and 2 miles back. Please help :(

Okay, so I've been going to therapy because I've been really depressed. Well the therapist i was seeing referred me to a psychiatrist and he labeled me major depression. What made me mad was that 1. I already knew i was depressed. 2. i was told him a few of the major problems that I've been stressing over but he just kept asking me how i felt about them (which was depressed). 3. He kept pushing Prozac on me and when i told him i didn't want it he still pushed it on me. I tried telling him that even if i took it, my problems wouldn't disappear (i loaned 300 dollars to my mom and 320 to my sister and i can't pay my bills this month. Plus I'm not doing well in college b/c I'm constantly working). He didn't have an answer for that. Then i asked him if there was a medical test to look for the chemical imbalance that this "medicine" is supposedly gonna fix and he said there wasn't one. He also told me i shouldn't be feeling this way. Who the heck isn't stressed out or depressed when they're struggling financially or in school? Honestly, all i wanted when i went into therapy was to talk to someone about my problems and maybe get PRACTICAL advice from, maybe even help with coping. So I've been researching and found that RARELY do psychiatrists ever 'cure' their patients. And now, I'm actually afraid to tell this man i don't want to take the pills b/c i don't want him to label me as irrational or resistant to treatment. Is anyone else running into this dilemma? (sorry so long)

What should I do for my Sweet Sixteen?
I will be 16 in 4 months. I want to have a party, not a huge one though. I'm thinking about 30 people, probably all girls. I live about an hour from Atlanta, and I'm pretty sure I could get transportation for my friends. Do you have any idea what I should do? It will be almost summer. I love singing, dancing, laughing, theme park rides, water stuff, etc... I don't like bowling or arcades or things like that. Can I cosign on a bank loan that has already been signed?
About seven months ago my family bought a car and I just started working my job, obviously the bank would not accept a cosign, or the interest was up up up. I have been getting thirty hours a week consistently for those seven months. Is there any possibility to get myself cosigned on that loan? If so do you know the process?

My car was totaled. When will I get my deductible back?
A few days ago I was involved in a six car accident. We were all stopped at a red light and a kid fell asleep at the wheel. He hit a 2007 Honda going about 45 mph. The Honda was completely demolished and the impact threw the car forward, which slammed into me. It created a domino effect and my car was smashed into another, and in all, six cars were involved and the first four, including mine, were totaled. Of course it was no one's fault but the one who fell asleep, but the kid who caused the accident is underinsured. His liability insurance coverage in 15K, and there's NO way that will cover all the damages he caused, so each of our insurances have to cover our own cars. I'm super bummed because I only get 3K for my car minus the 500 dollar deductible . I was told that his adjuster will not be able to do anything until he gets the total damages for all six of our cars. How long do you think it will take for me to get my deductible back? I desperately need the money right now so I can get a loan for another car. Also, there was a lien on my car and my credit union told me they would take all the money to put towards the loan and then I'd need another loan to cover the remaining balance and to get another loan for another car. If this deductible is refunded at a much later time, will that 500 be applied to a new loan, or will it go to me?

I agree with everything you said, the Packers are clearly the better team on both sides of the ball. Almost any divisional rivalry will bring out the best in each team, just look at what happened with the Jets and the Patriots. Mix tape songs needed?

About 10 or so years ago (1997-2000?) I went to the Van's Warped Tour concert in San Antonio, Tx. I was handed a compilation cd that said 'warped tour' but im not sure if it was an 'official' warped tour cd, since none of the album covers online look familiar to me, plus it was free. Im trying to find the album and/or a specific song on the album. Here's the details i remember: The album was a full album with 10+bands, it was mostly black with small red lettering, 2 of the bands that were on there were Powerman 5000 (song title:When world's collide) and Atari Teenage Riot (song title: too dead for me). The artist I'm looking for is either Verbena, or the song title was Verbena, not sure. I saw this movie on tv several years back and cannot find it anywhere. The movie follows the story of a hotel room over the years. 4 stories are told from 4 different decades all occurring in the same room. The modern story is of 2 teens with a suicide pact. There is another story about a drug addict musician who steals a song from a hotel staff. Another one of the stories follows the relationship of a man who meets the same hooker each year in that room through the 20s and thirties. The final story was of 2 gay soldiers during WWII. Why are so many people turning their backs on H & R Block?
I will start this comment by saying that I work for Block. The OCC has stopped banks from offering RAL's. JH has a bank controlled by the FDIC and they have not shut down RAL's. Block did not do anything to cause the RAL's to stop. All banks that are now doing RAL's are going to do a credit check. Itis predicted that less than 20% will be approved. The IRS has eliminated the debt indicator so now banks have no idea if a tax refund will be garnished so the RAL's are really risky for banks. I really thought the new product offered by H&R Block was a good loan. It did not have all the fees the RAL has. Now to JH. This is not my opinion but from their price list. They are charging $49.95 for the RAL whether or not you are approved. (Block did not charge for theirs if you were turned down.) Your refund must be between $1250 and $1500. This means that all the clients with large EIC credits will not qualify. Most likely this is not going to be told to the client until after the tax return is done and sent. JH is running a commercial saying that at Block it can take as long as 15 days for your refund. The same is true for everyone. If you do not get a loan, the IRS funds on a set cycle. What day your return is accepted determines what day it is funded. It can take 8 - 15 days barring no issues arise. Of course, JH is only promoting the 15 day part. At Block, we have no commercials I know of that puts down our competitors. All they do is advertise our service. We are doing free 1040ez's this year. We are also doing free Second Look Reviews. If you bring in 2007, 2008, and 2009 ( or any one of them) and docs we can review them to make sure you received all the deductions and credit you deserve (or even if you actually owe).
